Underfloor Heating

Underfloor heating is one of the fastest-growing parts of Nuvolt's work. Central Coast winters are mild but tiled bathrooms and ensuites can still be freezing first thing in the morning. Cam installs all three system types: in-slab cables embedded during a new pour, in-screed cables in a screed layer for renovations, and thin under-tile mats for retrofits over an existing slab. Sized to the room, wired to a dedicated thermostat, and tested before the tiler comes in over the top.

• In-slab installation: heating cable laid in the reinforcement before the concrete pour (new builds)
• In-screed installation: cable on insulation board, embedded in a screed layer (renovations)
• Under-tile mats: thin pre-spaced mat directly under floor tiles (retrofits)
• Dedicated thermostat with floor + ambient sensor
• Coordination with the tiler so the timing works for the program
