Switchboard upgrades are one of the biggest portions of Nuvolt's work right now, and there's a reason. Most homes around the northern Central Coast were built before RCDs were required, and the old porcelain-fuse boards just aren't safe by today's standard. We swap the lot (new enclosure, RCBOs, neat labelling, surge protection where it makes sense) and leave you with a board your insurer and the next owner will be happy with.
- Replace porcelain / ceramic-fuse boards with a modern RCBO panel
- Add safety switches (RCDs) to every circuit
- Upsize the main switch for new aircon, hot water or workshop loads
- Tidy and re-label every circuit so the next sparky (or you) can read it
